The following information is provided in the various reports about the nursing school at the clinics of the German Charles University in Prague: The professional training of the nursing staff was separated into a German and Czech department. The German sisters were organized in the association "Deutsche Schwesternschule", Prague, where the pupils were also taught. In the first year there was a theoretical course and in the second year a practical course. The management of the nurse's school was supervised by a nurse who visited hospitals in the United States for some time, worked there and then could use her acquired knowledge very well in Prague.
