The correspondence with the Wehrmacht authorised representative with the Reichsprotektor, which is transmitted from there to the statement, is sent back. On the letter of the Wehrmacht authorised representative dated 22 November 1939, the following was noted by repeated examination: 1.) The report here about the anti-German attitude of the Czech government force in Pisek was based on a communication made by the German regiment commander Colonel Klais personally to the head of the state police office Tabor. This announcement was also confirmed by an employee in the barracks in Pisek. In his communication to the state police, Lieutenant Colonel Klais said that further use of this announcement by the secret state police was not necessary, since he had already reported to the Wehrmacht authorised representative. A few weeks later, the lieutenant colonel told the state police that the relationship between the officer corps of the Germans and the Czechs was now a very good one, that the officers had a common meal and that the Czech people were very accommodating.
