128 The Head of Division II Prague, 22 December 1939. Mr. St a at s s e kre tä r. Of the 6 companies to be looked after from the civilian side, not from the arms inspection, 2 are currently without any guard as a result of the withdrawal of the SS. These are the explosives camps of the company "Eruptiva" near Lužná near Rakonitz and at Jinačowitz near Brno. In the case of the 4 mineral oil refineries, a factory protection has been set up on the part of the Wehrmacht authorised representative. However, it should not yet be fully operational. I can therefore suggest that the armed SS will be tested for a short time at these 4 plants until the factory protection is trained by the SS. In the case of the 2 explosives camps, I ask that with immediate effect a guard be provided by the police. Information about the explosives warehouses can be given instead of the ing on vacation. S c h r a m m from the company " Eruptiva 11 Large company and warehouse of monopoly explosives in Prague, Mr. Director Č e r n ý of the firm " Erupsiva ".'The latter is informed that it must be accessible at any time under the phone number 64380. As I have stated at Major Kö t g e n telephonically, in Berlin considerations should be in progress to send forces to the protectorate, which will take over the supervision of such plants for the future. When these forces can be expected to be sent, is not yet established in any way. The establishment of the works protection in the enterprises in the Protectorate is a matter for the defence department of the Wehrmacht authorised representative. The works protection is under the responsibility of the local police officer. f
