The German soldier is in the Occupied Territory of the Representant of the Germany Empire and its power. He should feel as such and act accordingly. This position alone is justified in ensuring due respect for the German army in the foreign country. Every insult and attack on the German Wehrmacht and the German people must be punished with the sharpest means. The German soldier must never forget that the civilian population, as far as it is not an Angchörige deutscher Volkstums or the other minorities, such as the Slonsaken in the Teschener Land and the Kashube in West Prussia, is concerned with him, even with apparent friendship inwardly hostile manner. It is particularly incompatible with the honour and dignity of the German soldier, given the atrocities committed by the Poles, if he comes into contact with the civilian population more than necessary, especially for the Verkchr with the female part of the population.
