Prague, 29 December 1941. 1) V e r m e r k. President Danco informs by telephone at 12:30 noon that he has closed the free-card issue at the Bohemian-Moravian Railways, which had led to corruption-like conditions, at the end of the year. Minister Kamenicky agreed, but had the wish to be allowed to hand over reduced payments to the National Community, to the Association for Cooperation with the Germans and to the trade unions, which had been rejected against the National Com munity and against the association for cooperation with the German people. He (Danco) did not know whether he could take the same decision on the trade unions and asked for an order from the Secretary of State, which I should transmit to him by telephonic means.
