Originally it had been planned to establish a multi-part government in which Beneš , General Ingr, Osusky and Dr. Outrata were to be represented. It was intended not to include in this government an exposed political scientist who at the present time had the Munich meeting and even later less influence. It is true that we have reliable news that Msgr. Šramek of all political groups was the most firm and he was the only one from the Fuh- rerkoalition who proved himself against the weak approach in connection with Munich. Nevertheless, the intention was not even to include him in the government, so that other politicians living abroad would not be able to claim t aoa ta a usaa because the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs, headed by a Catholic politician, considered Msgr. Šramek to be the only possible negotiating partner, was thus admitted to the national committee at the direct request of the French.
