4 Secret State Police Prague, September 3, 1941. St elag - IIA 3 - Represented to the Hertn Reichaprotehtor. Original 4 4-group leader State Secretary K.H. Frank, 11/9 P r a g IV, Czernin-Palais. The Greek Orthodox Church in the Russian emigration, which is under Bishop Sergius, holds its services in the Skt. Nikolauskirche am Altstädter Ring. Before the 25.8.l94l the last church services took place on the following days: 28.6., ll.7., 2l.7. and l5.8.I94l. Gottesdienste or other church events with special topics were not held. At the request of various Russian émigré organisations, the wish for the liberation of Russia from Soviet rule has been included in the final prayer for a long time. Moreover, no further mention of the war events in the Russian Church has been made. It is not obvious that a small, Soviet-friendly part of Russian emigration does not want the German victory and that even in monarchistic circles the war events in Russia, especially because of the high human and material losses of the Russians, which already in the past makes itself felt as an antipathy against, German-speaking countries. In these circles it seems possible that a prayer for the liberation of Russia is regarded as a prayer of liberation from the Germans. N.lis St. S.5-78 141
