The chairman of the National Trade Union Centre of Workers Stočes presented the 39 workers' representatives to whom the Deputy Reich Protector pressed the hand of each individual. In addition, the State Secretary K.H. Frank, the press chief Dr. von Gregory, the government councillor Wolfram von Wolmar, Ing. Köster and the representatives of the press were present. The name of the workers was given to the representative of the Reich Protector of the Workers B. Zástěra the views and wishes of the laborers. He asked him, in the very first row, to devote his attention to the supply of the workers with fats. He also expressed the wish that the concept of heavy and very heavy workers as well as night work and long-term work should be accurately interpreted. An extensive aid to the workers would be the supply to breakfast soup. In the name of the whole Czech working class, the energetic intervention of the deputy imperial protector against chain-handlers and Jews was approved. The speaker of the workers made attention to the wage policy and to the great disparity of the low wages. In connection with this, he interpreted the wish that, with regard to the welfare of the workers' families, appropriate allowances should be paid with numerous children.
