For your letter dated 2 September 1939 from Cologne, which I have just received, I would like to thank you warmly. The address has been correctly given by you, so- that the letter has not been lost. I hope that the matter will be in order and that I will be able to see you again shortly here. The behaviour of the steel confederation is more than peculiar, but characteristic of the attitude of the heavy industry. What does it look like in Trier and what else is new?
