The rapid condemnation and execution of sentences thus made possible has had such a dissuasive effect on all the pushers that they no longer dare to continue their corrupting activity in the way they have been used to so far. Annex 5 gives information on the verdict of the economic pests brought to the courts by the German criminal police. Supplement 6 contains the foodstuffs which have been collected in this context and which have, in accordance with the instructions, been handed over to the factory canteens of the armaments companies. In this context, it is worth noting the fact that the German special courts dealing with the sentence of crimes under § 1 of the War Economic Regulation and § 4 of the People's Harassment Ordinance passed a number of death sentences during the reporting period and imposed draconian prison sentences.
