- 15 - Trade unions have been set up to bring together the various masses of the working people over the populace-damaging activity of the economic pests. The trade unions have spared no effort and costs to help the tradesmen to lay the trade by means of posters, hand- and glue-sheets, cinema advertisements, radio announcements and instruction in the company appeals. As a contribution to the cost of this action, they were allocated a sum of RM 20 000 from the funds of the so-called "seizure fund" by the deputy Reichsguardor, -Obergruppenführer and General der Polizei H e y d r i e h. This fund will also pay rewards to those persons who are successful in reaching relevant communications to the German Criminal Police, and the success of these measures has not been missed. Since then, the services of the German Criminal Police have received a large number of mostly Czech-written messages, in which it is often expressed that the scoreboards have no confidence in the Protectorate services and, invoking the lucid Enlightenment Action, turn to the German Krininal Police. IV. Engagement of the Deutsche Gendarmerie.
