32 EUROPEAN REVUE BERLIN W 30, Mackensenstr.17 WRITING Tel.: 229086 . Telegr.: Devaverlag Berlin 6. Jenuar 1942 High-Secretary of State, May I humbly allow myself to present a sincere request to you today. The "European Revue" is dedicated to the task, in cooperation with the Ministry of Propeganda and the Federal Foreign Office, of informing and promoting a still numerous foreign readership in the sense of Reichpolitik. To guide our efforts, I would like to send you our last issue, devoted to the Netherlands. For a long time now, it has been our urgent wish to contribute to the dispelling of the false notions of the situation in Bohemia and Moravia, which are still widespread in the occupied territories, by publishing an important article on the objectives and conditions in the Protectorate. We believe that this is the reason why our readers expect such an opinion, as we were allowed to present to them the first publicistic statements of the leading personalities at the establishment of the Protectorate. In this context, I would like to point out our April 1939 issue with the articles of the Reich Protector of Neurath and the President of the State: Hacha, which I also add. In this sense, I would like to ask you, Mr President-in-Office of the Council, many times today, to provide us with such an article, which sets out both the principles and the practical side of the problem. $H56/42
