738 Dr. V. Both A OT/I Prague, 17 July 1942. DdaGaotsfekcettirs Mr. Fecsprotector ia mahren. Councillor Dr. Gies, E.n 2 0.JULI 1942 Office of the Secretary of State. The following is a list of the pictures from the depot of the Bohemian-Moravian State Gallery, which would be considered for the residence of the State Secretary. The pictures were selected with the upper building board Bo l l a c h e r. Numbers 20 to 23 appear for the ladies' room, numbers 25 to 27 suitable for the dining room. The numbers 7, 15, 16, 24, 30, fit probably in the master room, number 6, 10, 19 in the breakfast room. All images must be cleaned and repaired before they can be used in the gallery's workshop, which will take about a week, and I would ask that a decision be taken by the State Secretary on how and where the final selection should be made. Of course, it is possible to bring all 30 pictures, some of them very large, to the Czernin Palais, but I would like to suggest that you select the pictures in the rooms of the Bohemian - Moravian Lan- desgalerie in Valentinsgasse.
