hV the 24, January 1944 Security Service of the Reichsführer-4 Prag-Bubentsch, Sachsenweg SD-Leitabteilung Prag Fernspsechp III B - PA 1443/43 Ministoramt Tp 27. JaN 1944 To the German Minister of State for Bohemia and Moravia 1-ObergruppenführER K.H. Fr a n k PragIV. tt an Czernin-Palais. E.r Benessen Betr.: -Unterscharführler Rudolf P a n z e r , M S Owner of a leather factory in Bohegchau near Prague. The following statement (see Appendix) has been received: 3. 2 P a n z e r , which comes from Asch, has been the owner of a leather factory in Beneschau since autumn 1942, which he bought in the way of the aryanization. As a party comrade and member he played a certain role in the political life of Beneschau. In the course of the analysis of the archive material in the former Czecho-Slovak Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Prague, a letter was issued here, which was sent to Dr. Benesch, former Czech Foreign Minister, on June 3, 1934, and in which he tried to bend himself towards Czech places in a way which was unworthy and tasteless for a German. In this letter, which is enclosed in a copy, Fr. Dr. Benesch asks for a loan of half a million kroner and promises to place a memorial stone on the spot where Benesch once secretly crossed the German border. The request of the tank was rejected by the cabinet office of Dr. Benesch. For the characterization of the person of the tank, on Gyund the elevations initiated from here via the SD section of Reichenberg are to say the following: Panzer was very spoiled as a child by his parents, who during the First World War as the owner of a tannery in Asch came to a great fortune. His parents always showed themselves yielding and everything went according to the boy's head. When about 2o-year-old Panzer already entered into various speculations and lost his own and his parents' fortune. He then made a series of trials, which he led on the right to the poor. In November 1938, a criminal case against Panzer for crimes pursuant to § 98, St.G., was still pending at the Landgericht in Eger. He was accused of threatening several persons with letters in violation of their honor and self-defence in order to force a performance and tolerance from the threatened. In the course of the judicial investigations, Panzer was also suspected of providing spy services for the former Czecho-Slovak state police. However, the investigations carried out by the secret state police led to the conclusion that Panzer at that time was heavily indebted and had for a long time rented an attic of his house to Dirnen. For this reason, the Czech state police had repeatedly checked his home day and night, which, according to the secret state police, may have led to this suspicion. $\b-10 4 141 St.M.
