English Translation
28. In the territory of the Protectorate, this Order has five houses in Prague, Brno, Letowitz and Wisowitz, all of which are in one province. The seat of the Provincial was in Prague. The General of the Order has its seat in Rome. Whether the Order was known as the Order of Bettelorden, no contribution was given to it from existing cultural means. The Order received a living from the income of its own hospitals. Whether the administration of the Ministry of Social Affairs and Health gave it support for its activities is not known to the Minister of Education and Culture. According to information from the Chapter Consistory in Prague, the members of the Order who are capable of working had to attend until Saturday the l2.d. M. report to the secret state police that they have chosen a civilian post. Every activity in the public institution was forbidden to them. The incapacitated members were allegedly promised a rest by the secret State police, but it is not known from what means. If the last informations do not correspond to the truth, it is a task of the consistories for them to obtain a proposal for their care from the cultural administration. The chapter consistory in Prague and the abbots of the Moravian religious houses, who personally intervened at the local ministry last Friday, were then brought to the attention.
