STATE SECRETARY FOR THE RUSSIAN PROTECTOR IN THINGS AND IN MORAVA, PRAGUE, inv. 2213, sig. 109-11-14
English Translation
The Mohammedan community in the Protectorate is to be regarded as a purely sect-like association, which was artificially raised by Brikcius and some friends, mostly young foreign students, as a plaything. It first appeared in 1934 and initially developed from a circle of permanently or temporarily living Mohammedans in Prague who belonged to the Islamic states or were businessmen from the Balkans.A few years later, it was decided to push propaganda for Islam among the Czechs to a limited extent, of which a total of about 1oo - probably mostly out of a sense of sensation - came from circles of semi-intellectuality and uprooted intellectuals. They are almost entirely eccentric, since Islam prescribes circumcision as with the Jews. At present, the community in the Protectorate has a total of 650 members, of which 100 are Czechs and individual Germans, about 100 are Bosnians, in the rest Tartars, Cherkessen, Turks Arabs and Russians. In recent years before the establishment of the Protectorate, the Czech press has made a relatively large propaganda for the Islamic community, and this is more strikingly exclusively in chauvinist and German hostile leaflets.According to a report, many homosexuals are to be returned in the circles of the Islamic congregation, which should not take miracles, since Islam is known to favour homosexuality. All in all, Brixius plays a rather dark and dubious role in this questionable parish. Aaul. 44-Sturmbannführer
