78 DR. FRANZ HAYLER BERLIN-SCHÖNEBERG GUIDER OF THE SALZBURGER STR. 21 FERNR. 71 2721 September 30, 1939 Dr.H/Th Herr Regierungsrat SS-Obersturmbannführer G r i e s Personal speaker of the State Secretary Frank Reichsprotektorat Prague $131 Dear comrade Gries! Yesterday in Prague I had the opportunity to discuss with Mr. State Secretary Frank some questions concerning the supply of the Bohemian-Moravian Economic Area. Mr Frank, Secretary of State, has expressed the wish to be informed directly by the gentlemen who act as mob commissioners in the large companies and for the food trade in these areas, particularly on important issues in these fields. For this work, I have made available to Mr. Regierungsdirektor Schumacher two experienced employees of the food trade from the Old Reich, namely the director Rudolf Müller (Bernhard Müller, Augsburg), who is employed for the consumer associations, cooperatives and the food wholesale trade, Engelbert Heinritzi from Munich, who deals with the other food trade, as well as some gentlemen from the commercial sector. I would ask you, first of all, to receive the two gentlemen mentioned and, in accordance with the wishes of the Secretary of State, to arrange, if necessary, the necessary discussion with the State Secretary.
