N'ürnberg-WEST Ctd-oo-Richard-Wagner-Platz-l. 6 July 1939. 100 O ooUe BOrsTONrO Bo5atN rat Esho Dear Doctor ed.s aodogededede °! oaamd bd abut Ne 3O A few days ago, I saw in one of the magazines on display here the reception of retenders in the vestibule of the Czech and Moravian protector's office, and I ask you not to mislead me if I personally trouble you in the same direction. As a member of the Sudeten German Party, local group Prague, and in possession of the second nobilization order, I crossed the former Reich border in Eger on 2 August lg38 as one of the first reservist refugees. Of course, I found here an opportunity to earn after six days due to the acknowledgable receipt of the authorities. Unfortunately, however, my references were small and I was also persecuted by an indescribable bad luck that - once became my companion - I did not leave until today. In the firm conviction now that it will be different confidently if I leave Nuremberg, which in every respect only disappointed me, I make the decision to start again from the beginning in another city, which is, perhaps, completely foreign to me. This has been happening for several months - with always the same success: a negative one! Whether I advertised, wrote down even on calls or directly addressed various companies - always the same! Unfortunately, however, I have another reason why I am constantly looking for an activity that guarantees me a higher level of income than it has been so far: at the time I had barely returned from a sanatorium and was forced to accept a loan. The due date - at the end of July a.c. - is for me and I am simply not able to fulfil my obligation. I have already provided the proof that it seemed to me at the time in Prague as a matter of course to comply with this obligation ter- minrecht, or to be able to comply.
