Subject : Honorary evidence of the members of the gendammerie and the governmental police station. . situation: The members of the protectorate guard corps / government police and gendarmerie / express due respect by the official greeting and therefore the showing of honor must be done precisely according to the regulations, with due respect and appropriate rigour. In recent times it has unfortunately been observed that the display of honour is always performed perfectly correctly and that watch organe SereS greets their superiors, especially the representatives of the empire Nach- lEssig. The Ministry of the Interior, therefore, once again draws the attention of the members of the gendarmerie and the government police to the fact that they are obliged to show honor to persons, flags and symbols who, according to the regulations of service, are entitled to show honour, but especially to higher members of Wehrmacht, the police and high officials of the Hérrn Reichsprotector. The commanders shall inform their subordinates immediately of the provisions applicable to the declaration of honour and shall exercise their duties in accordance with the law; they shall also be obliged, by means of constant checks, to verify whether the declaration is carried out in an ordinary manner; they are personally responsible for the remedy.
