STATE SECRETARY FOR THE RUSSIAN PROTECTOR IN THINGS AND IN MORAVA, PRAGUE, inv. 2141, sig. 109-8/24
English Translation
In order to be able in the future to stop an excessive activity of the Salvation Army in the Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia, I consider it expedient and sufficient to ban in the same way as before in the Reich area, every collecting activity of The Salvation Army, whether as a collection or as a sacrifice of thanksgiving as well as the distribution of the magazines. However, there are no concerns about sending the magazines "Prapor spasy" and "Das Heilsbanner" to the members free of charge. Until further notice, the public appearance should be permitted, as far as the events are within the necessary framework and do not take over. If necessary, local bans should be applied. If, in the course of time, further burdensome material against the Salvation Army should be determined, further measures could possibly be made dependent on whether the searches to be carried out there, if necessary, with the functionaries of the Salvation army, result in such stressful material that a dissolution would be absolutely necessary IT. I request that, in the course of the instructions given by me, the necessary measures be taken and that a report be made on the cause and on the activity of the Salvation Army to 1.4.1941. 5 'th0s mddae Representative: o8 00 afebretl metlei gez.
