12 - 10 - In recent times, the Salvation Army has caused a strong stir among Germans and also in Czech right-wing opposition circles. This rejection in the public sphere has already been reflected in the press. For example, the newspaper "Vlajka" published a remarkable article some time ago, in which the dissolution of the Salvation army was demanded. The essay was also discussed in the "New Day". From various statements about upcoming German measures against the Salvation Army it can be concluded that Czechs are also expected to have the possibility of dissolution. During the preparatory discussions on the planned increase of the Salvation Army Home in Prague between the head of the board of trustees appointed for construction, Police Council Machule, and the representatives of the Healing Army, there were differences of opinion in the course of which the Police Council stated that it was certain that the Salvation army would be dissolved in the Protectorate. This incident gave the headquarters in Praly the opportunity to report to headquarters in Berlin. The head of the Salvation Army in Germany, J.Büsing, therefore appealed to Group XIV of the Reich Protector with the request to ensure that the work of the Healing Army in the Protectorate is not prevented, the government police director Nečasek of Budweis recently submitted the proposal for a resolution to the Bureau of the Interior Ministry in Prague, stating that the Salvation army had now lost its "right to exist". On the basis of the report of the Prague Police Directorate on the Salvation Army, the President of the Czech Ministry of the Interior also requested its dissolution. / In view of this development of the ongoing disintegration and occasional press attacks, the Salvation Army has been somewhat in the background during the last weeks in its propaganda and gathering activities.
