12 - 18 - H a m p l. also prepares an international connection to Yugoslavia and to the Soviet government. In principle, separate from the news link with the country, the questions that concern only the Czech legion in France and the dispatch to the country are to be considered. The escape from the Protectorate with the aim of actually entering the Czech Legion was mostly undertaken by politically undecided persons, former members of the Czechoslovak army, students, etc. It was often mass transports that went illegally across the Slovak border. Individuals tried to obtain the official leave of departure under any pretext. Many made it so that they registered for work in the Reich (Ostmark), e.g. in the Hermann Göring-Werke in Linz or Vienna, there on a favorable occasion left their work place and fled in the area of Rosenbach-Marburg over the Ju-Goslavian border. The further flight led the Czechs from Slovakia via Hungary also to Yugoslavia, where they mostly converged in Belgrade and were brought from here via niche and Saloniki to French territory. From Yugoslavia, the path of Czech and Polish emigration was mostly the same. As already mentioned, the economic and industrial sectors play the main role in linking abroad and in anti-rich foreign activities. Three different points are to be taken into account: 1.) Employees of the various companies travelling between the company in the Protectorate and abroad perform foreign services by sending verbal or written messages abroad and back. 2.) The missions abroad are the focal points of Czech foreign activities and serve as information points of start-up and collection. 3.) Accompanied by the company in the Protectorate, i.e. by its subsidiaries.
