The head of the military censorship for Bohemia and Moravia, Lieutenant Colonel Grosse, told me yesterday with confidence that Lieutenant Colonel Dr. Ritter v.Goss will leave Prague in the next few days, since he was transferred as I c. to General Friderici. The question of the appointment of the successor is now very sensitive. Undoubtedly, Mr. Menschik, who was first promoted to lieutenant colonel, will take over the management of the W.Pr. position, as he is considered to be a priority. He also proposed that the lieutenant colonl of Goss be a laughing stock. However, Menschik was impossible at this point: 1.) he had been artificially raised by Colonel von Goss (that is, his fast career; in two years he was promoted by Lieutenant-General to Lieutenant-Colonel), 2.) Manschik, as a former bank official, was also factually a zero, 3.) he was vain and a notorious Kurbler.
