Betr.: Marriage of Wehrmascht members Eing.: 24.AUG. 1942 with members of the Protectorate, 1.) Members of the Wehrmacht, with the exception of the professional soldiers and officials of the armed forces, can be granted the marriage permit with protectorate members (Czech Republic). In all cases, however, an in-depth examination of the bride according to racial and political points of view is necessary, as it is also determined for civil marriages. 2.) Applications must therefore be sent to the military department responsible for the decision by means of all the necessary facilities. the Presidents of Bohemia and Moravia - Reichsauftragsverwaltung - in Prague and Brno, who are responsible for the residence or permanent residence of the bride, with the request for approval. 3.) In the event of a conflict between the President of the Government or the President responsible and the decisive military superior, the documents and opinions shall be given to the commander of the Wehrmacht. If this shares the position of the military superior, it shall send the whole correspondence: a) if the bride has the residence outside the Protectorate, to the OKW, which shall send an opinion of the Minister of the Interior; b) if that bride has her residence in the Protectorates, to a military representative at the Reichsprotektor, who shall bring forward an opinion by the Reich Protector. 4.) If no agreement has yet been reached, the High Command of the Wehrmacht will decide, to which the requests for 3b must be submitted. 5.) In all marriages of Wehrmacht members with members of the Protectorate, it is necessary to ensure that the bride moves her residence to the Old Kingdom at the latest after the marriage close-up, unless the husband's residence is in the Brotektorat. 6.)
