Mr President, I should like to thank the Commissioner for his excellent report. With regard to the pending planning issues that President Niemeyer has suggested, I will present a special memorandum in the next few days in which I will comment from the point of view of urban finance on the overall needs and the possibility of identifying other sources of finance. In a special point, however, I could make a binding commitment to Mr. President Niemeyer. He plans to create a settlement society in which the city with eight million and the state with eighteen million crowns would be involved for the construction of 3ooo replacement apartments, which are necessary for the demolization of a large housing block in the Weibergen. We agreed that the representatives of the City of Germany to be sent to the Administrative Committee would have to be German, while the protectorate government, which would have the majority, would probably have to appoint Czechs. However, the German influence could be ensured by the fact that a representative of the Lord Reichsprotektor each participates in the meetings. On the other hand, on the recommendation of President Niemeyer, we initiated the development of the special project for the Nusltal bridge. Mr. Arch. Mattern, the consultant for park and green space design in the city, is working on an overall plan for the design of the green space. He will also solve the recently very burning question of the cemetery.
