5h THE PRIMATOR-STELL REPRESENTATIVE OF THE MAIN CITY PRAG. Activity report of the Deputy Primator Prof. Dr. Josef Pfitzner for the period from 25./9. to 28./10.l940. As in the last months, the financial problems of the municipality were also in the foreground of the practical work. First of all, the arrival of a four-part revision commission of the Reich Ministry of the Interior under the leadership of Dr. Bruns-Wüsterfeld gave a decisive opinion on the fact that connoisseurs of the imperial relations provided a critical report not only on the financial situation of the city, but also on the entire administrative organization and, above all, on personnel relations. We German city representatives have warmly welcomed this step, because it has given us the desired help in our efforts to bring clarity to many confused conditions. The German speakers of the city with their officials, like myself, have largely made available to us to the Commission, have continued to hold visits, individual and collective meetings, so that, according to my judgment, no wish remained open. As we have been assured, the report is to be completed by the end of November, which I would particularly like to welcome because it would allow us to evaluate its outcome for the preparation of the new budget.
