W1 51 Ká r od n í List y: The German point of view on the Le- gionärsfrage. A fundamental article of the Secretary of State K.H. Frank. The paper brings the most important passages of this article published in the magazine , Bohemia and Moravia and concludes a commentary on it in which it refers to the meaning of the article and its tendency. The Czech people are to be shown why the legionaries are his misfortune. The commentary also refers to the asocial side of the whole movement, as well as to the fact that this change and the further duration of their ideology in the protectorate continued to be unbearable under the changed conditions. The legionary idea continues to cry out in the protectorate that the legionaries are indefensible, unlearnable - in short, they do not want peace. The question of le- gienär and its solution is one of the fundamental preconditions of a German-Czech understanding. The paper concludes ia this article: The German-Czech understanding is based on the Deateeh-Chechische Zu- Bestshochisenew rochaes future, as well as its/his own development. Therefore, all obstacles that stand in the way of such a sin must be removed. The legionary question concerns the elimination of a cult which has been cultivated in great damage to the effective national attitude. Its elimination is one of the prerequisites for an understanding. However, on this understanding our future is based. The legionary question has to be solved in such a way that the penetration of the imperial idea into the broadest masses of the people is not inhibited. he/ 1119
