2 Hohenfurt. It is only questionable whether the intentions of the protectorate government to buy the Hohenfurter pictures for the Prague gallery mentioned above can be accepted. In itself, the inner unity (which is not too common anymore) should be the same place where a work of art is still located, for which it was soon 600 years ago 7/. The Hohenfurt Tables also form an important part of the rich, versatile South Bohemian cultural landscape, and they also present, in place and on the spot, the flow of artistic forces from Austria in the 1st century. On the other hand, the Staatsgalerie in Prague is certainly an institution of the protectorate government; it is now only managed and managed by Czechs (without regard to the decades-long merits of German art friends for the achievement of the collection and regardless of the outstanding German proportion of the holdings); however, it is only a matter of time that German experts are incorporated into the administration of the museum, as it has already been prepared, and that sufficient German influence is exercised. This would also prevent Hohenfurt's paintings from being proclaimed, for example, as works of Czech art. The Staatsgalerie is the only museum to be able to show the culturally important section of the development of early German painting in Bohemia in the age of Charles IV without any interruption. In this series of developments, the Hohenfurt Tables are undisputedly one of the most important elements. In view of the fact that in the future the Prague art treasures will also have to be evaluated as intensively as possible in the German sense, there is much to be said for the Hohenfarther Pictures as the main works of German art in the Bohemian of Charles IV. to leave just in Prague and not in the little-visited Hohenfurt (whether as a temporary or permanent loan or 'as property of the gallery, is a second Prague.).
