Jelbst Hoyf M.9.R. Biman Rifuronte Linz a.D., September 6, 1939 o f41 To the Secretary of State Karl Hermann Fr a n k Prague. Dear friend ! Forgive me if I bother you with a request during this difficult time, however, the matter of undue importance seems to me that something has to happen. These are the nine panels from the monastery of Hohen furth, which were then brought to Prague for restoration. Allegedly, these panels are to be exhibited in a hall of the Prague State Collection. Whether the panels have already been restored to the extent that it is possible to transport them away, is beyond my knowledge. However, I would ask you to let me know whether it is even possible to return these tablets, which are one of the most valuable cultural goods of the German people, from Prague to their original location, Hohenfurth. I believe that they will be better served in Hohenfurt than in Prague. Please inform me immediately whether a transfer is possible. If necessary, I would accept myself for the cause. Heil Hitler! 1013 muf 4
