Ia 72 00 aa.sfekretäcs protekioe i. cohmen uno Mahren Eing. 15. 0KT. 1942 Betr.: Transport education. The traffic education measures carried out by the Protectorate authorities so far have not been a significant success. I have therefore instructed the local police commander to initiate the necessary measures in order to educate the population of the Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia on transport discipline through transport education weeks. The officers, sub-leaders and men of the Uniform Protectorate Police must be closely familiar with traffic regulations. They must also be informed of the most appropriate way of monitoring road users' compliance with traffic rules. Experienced traffic officers and sub-leaders of the German police will be involved. In the education of the population to the traffic discipline by press, radio, posters, standing pictures in the light games, etc., the simplest traffic rules will be started and gradually and systematically transferred to the more difficult regulations. Short, catchy guidelines and pictures "False - Right!" are better than lengthy essays when it comes to transport education by the press. Short relevant lectures are to be given in schools, authorities, companies, etc. during the course of the transport education weeks. The possibility of teaching the dissidents by means of transport instruction on Sunday mornings must also be used to a large extent. I ask all departments to encourage the measures to educate the population on transport discipline. ez. Frank . ordinary Certified: Aurficte Master of the Protective Police.
