&S Major of the Gendarmerie Edmund Hartel Adjutant of the Minister of the Interior Prague VIL, Sommerbergstr. 67. No. 93 Adj./1941. Prague, March 14, 1941. Dear Mr. Superior Government Council ! On my visit of March 5, 1994l I allow myself to clash with the urban truck P-llo72 of section X of the capital city of Prague with the lorries SS-71725, to which it happened on the 15th. The police department in Prague reports every traffic accident affecting a vehicle of the Reichswehr, the SS-Forma- tions, the Order Police and the Secret State Police, to the relevant department at 1 3.20 p.m. in Prague-VII before the crossing at the Hlavka Bridge. This is particularly so in order to inform the above-mentioned services in good time and to give them, if necessary, the opportunity to take further action in the event of the debt of one of their relatives. Reporting on such accidents has not been ordered in writing to the police department. This procedure was introduced because reports of accidents were usually requested by the Reichs- ers. Due to this now usual procedure, the police department of the station commander of the SS-enforcement force Prague V, Nuremberger Straße also reported on this accident. The police department in Prague, however, has no influence on whether this commander forwards the material obtained from other Reich services such as the SS and police court in Prague. In the above-mentioned clash, neither material damage nor damage occurred to persons, of which no account is taken of. $,√K-23 π
