Politically indifferent is about 60% of the total population, about 20% should be regarded as sympathizing with communism and 10% as open opponents of the regime. However, this indifference of the majority of the SU members is not to be understood as having no interest in political matters at all. In general, the average ruse has an interest in the questions of the day. The explanation for his restraint is to be sought in the fact that he has become completely headless by a systematic and inaccessible propaganda and by the bad economic conditions and is no longer able to distinguish what truth and lie is. His indifference is also due to the fact that he generally no longer expects any improvement in his living conditions. Among the open opponents of the Soviet regime are the kulaks, and the resettled people who are from the western part of the country were also encouraged to do so.
