No.: Prague FEESEEES Czernin-Palais On the recommendation of the Obersturmbannführer Dr.Gies, I turn to you as the higher 4 and police leader in the following matter: I was seconded to the Oberlandratsamt in Pardubitz on 15.3.1939, coming from the government in Sehneidemühl, where I worked as an office manager for one year. My second Oberlandrat, Dr.Hacker, accepted me in September 1939 for promotion to the head inspector of the Bes.Gr. A 4 b 1, but I have not been promoted to this day. In August 1940 I was transferred to the authority of the Reich Protector in Prague and was employed in the main office until my convocation to active military service on 15.4.194l. I am a participant in the war, I took part in the Peldzug in the East from the first day, I was promoted to the Private on 1.8.1941 and should be sent to the weapons school in a few months after I passed the peycho-technical examination for officer candidates in May l94l in Königsberg.
