On 9 May 1937 Eduard Benesch was unanimously elected protector of the society. An image of the anti-German attitude of the association also offered his magazine, which appeared until the end of 194o under the title (Czechoslovak-Yugoslav Revue). An essay published in this magazine in 1938, in which a Serb comments on the Sudeten question, is significant.
