P r a g, 2.0ktober 1942. at Rerchp: p:eeo In Bohemia and Möhuen. Eing.: -3. 0KT. 1942 K.H. with 1 plant -Obersturmbannführer DrGies, Prag. l. Ve r mer k. As I have already said orally, the accompanying letter from Obersturmbannführer Brandt is undoubtedly due to the fact that some party member, who has become aware of the decree on the establishment of the department of the Reichskommissar for the consolidation of German peoples, has taken a stand against it. A similar process has probably taken place at the party liaison office. I have tried to find him again, but I have not succeeded so far. It is well known that certain party circles, the line represented by group leaders P r a n k, disapprove of the Czech question. I propose the following reply to Obersturmbannführer Brandt: 2. Letter : The alleged order of the Reichsführerstan - ObersturmbannführER Fischer for the Germanisation of Chechens can only be the decree of Colonel Rupfenführers Daluege, enclosed in copy, on the establishment of the office of the commissioner of the Imperial Commissar for the plague of German ethnicity at the Reich's protector in Bohemia and Moravia. This decree was already signed by Obergruppenführer Heydrich. A special order was not given to Obersturmbannfänger Fischer. So there is only a misunderstanding in two cases. Perhaps someone got to know about the decree without knowing it himself in the text. πO-98a/42 -Oborsturmbannführers.
