Introduction. With the following list, the scientific work of the members of the German universities of Prague is compiled for the first time in a clear form and published to the public. In the list of writings only those works which had actually appeared until September l939 were included, not even writings which were still in print, even if their immediate appearance was imminent. The aim of this publication is to enable each individual to learn about the scientific achievements of the members of the local universities and to encourage the scientific activities of all members of Prague's national universities. This compilation is intended to show at the same time that despite the exceptionally moving political days of the study.
