According to a circular just mentioned, the publication of a document with approximately the following content was planned:the tasks of the German universities in Prague and Brno,the political situation at the German higher education institutions in Pragueand Brno during the academic year 1938/39,the teaching business and the scientific achievements at these universities in the same time range,the activity report of the university management,the lecturers' and students' federations during this time.This planned document served the purpose of familiarizing the entire Reich area and, above all, in the East and South-East states with the events and activities at the german higher education institutes in Prague, Brinn, in order to promote these high schools and to underline their tasks. The publication of this publication was to follow in the autumn of l939, but it did not occur because the conditions did not appear due to the further political events and finally because of the beginning of the war. However, in order not to drop the whole plan, at least the publications published by members of the Prague German universities during the academic year 1938/39 were determined.
