X - 7 - and in the current summer semester a lecture on the colonial question in the prehistory of the world war, which was attended by lo4 listeners. Furthermore, a lecture was organized by Mr. Geheimrat Gerstenhauer on German colonial history from l884 to l9l4. These works were carried out in close cooperation with the Reichsstudentenführung, locally with Dr. Hohlweek von der Studentenschaft. The Reichsstudentenführung has sent a special letter of recognition. Two dissertations dealt with "The Portuguese Colonies and England" and "Japan and the European Powers". Prof. Ernstberger himself has written a work on "Die Ti- mes und die sudetendeutsche Frage" (The Ties and the SudetenGerman Question), and a work plan has been prepared for the events and demands he has led. The work of the professors Ernstberger and Wostry was supported by Tur- on "Der Völkerbundgesgedanke bei den Czechen". Prof. Dr. In his field of work, Laufke can prove that Engländ did not influence the development of continental law, but has always used opportunities for interference. His work was partly influenced by the German influence on the legal system in the south-east. -Prof. Dr. Preissig is prepared to treat the French war novel and works on German settlement in Burgundy. Doz.Dr Fortner works in the Reichskolonialbund and has already made available to the Dözentenbund the special group "German Universities of Prague" of the Reich's Colonialbund. Dr. Werdecker (Geograph) has stated in his map of South-West Arabia as a working method of English science that German research results have been suppressed, that the physicians of Prague University would be ready to process material and literature, e.g. on the neglect of hygiene in colonial areas, on the mortality of women and children in India, etc. In addition, they encourage people to approach the tropical hygienist Rodenwaldt, Heidelberg, the occupational physician Bader, Berlin-Neu- Köln, Prof. Kölsch, Munich, in the field of tropical hygiene, as well as the IG colours, which foreign scholars have received for their pharmaceutical preparations and which are used in their advertising.
