Subject: Reporting for members of the Reich. I am going back to the proceedings, including the Ordinance. I would point out that the basic lines of the reorganization of the reporting system have been established in meetings with the Secretary of State himself. Since in the notification to the Protectorate for Reich members all information about a possible military employment relationship, about the membership of the NSDAP etc. had to come into default, a supplementary evidence was necessary with the Oberlandrat. Since this notification has to be made only by invitation, it does not mean a significant burden. As regards the number of persons to be taken up from the notification to the Protectorate, detailed discussions also took place with the Secretary of State, and it was finally established that only the Wehrmacht members should be exempted from this reporting obligation during the war, since other exceptions would unduly affect the uniformity of the reporting system. The objections raised at the time that the protectorate authorities could obtain any further knowledge of the strength and housing of the members of the security police by the notification were no longer withheld.
