3a -2- but the compulsory administration was imposed on the basis of the government decree of 21.3.1939 (collection of laws and ordinances year 1939, No.87, p.33l ). However, this decree does not result in any rights of sale. As the legal situation therefore does not appear to be sufficiently clarified, and on the other hand I try to prove that the application of the above-mentioned government decree and further tougher measures against the noble landlords can have no cause in the attitude towards the German Reich, I ask first of all to ask that further measures than they have so far been troffan be withdrawn. With regard to the cases of Count C e r n i n and Count Colloredo Mannsfeld, I further ask that the externalisation and eviction measures, which are already under way, be suspended for the time being. It must be possible, on the basis of my memorandum, to enter into a discussion of the matter with the aim of clarifying and justifying the parties concerned. I have given the same memorandum to the Minister of the Interior, because I am not well informed about the responsibilities for dealing with the matter, but I did not want to do anything to remedy and promote the matter. I am at your disposal at any time and at any place for a meeting. I would be very grateful for a brief interim notice. t Heil Hitler! Your very devoted euims 15887 lawyer.
