From this point of view, it is not possible to see why the Czech nobility, which is not sufficiently friendly in itself, should be left at its full disposal under quite different conditions the disproportionately large possession of land. If in one case or another the possession is required for rich purposes, the owner will be replaced by the value of the object. At present, the Czech land reform has been refunded to the German large-scale property up to about l/5 of the value of the expropriated property.
