A response to the obvious demands, which in the well-known eight points of Karlovy Vary demanded above all freedom of commitment to the German national socialist world view, would inevitably have led to a complete change not only in domestic politics but also in Czechoslovakia's foreign policy. This conclusion was realized by those involved in the demonstration when they wrote it and they would have approved and wanted to do so by the invitation to the out= equal to the Germans, who - as was clear - could only be done on the basis of the Kerelsbader program. The statements about the relationship with the Germans occupy a wide space in the explanation and constitute the only positive content of the whole address.
