96 H/P 29 March 1943 Mr. Under-State Secretary Dr. von Burg a dorf f, Feldpost Nr. 30448. Dear Under-Secretary of State! Dr. Gies has just informed me that you, very venerable Mr. Deputy Secretary, had received a COD from the People and Reich Verlag Berlin. I do not need to tell you in a lot of words how sorry I am that this mistake has been made by Berlin's Veriag, but you will certainly apologise to the Berlin publishing house if I tell you that the many more you Venigen accounting staff still have to deal with the work only through the help of many evening and night hours. At the same time, an attempt is being made to award reminders on an hourly basis in order to advance them in the first place. On such an occasion, Mr Under-Secretary of State, the mistake has now gone unnoticed. Ieh himself, with the few powers left to me, tries to realize the multiplicity of work. Unfortunately, I cannot send you anything of our work in the prevailing postal regulation. The great Bohemian and Moravian Book is now available, and a small book about Bohemia and Moravia, which we have published for the Hitler Youth, is now being completed and is being delivered.
