MAY 1943 To the personal speakers of the Secretary of State at the Reich's Protector in Bohemia and Moravia 4-Obersturmbannführers Dr. G i e s Prag. Betr.: K r á 1 i č e k, Ladislav, Subofficial, geb. 20.3.1897 in Bohuslawitz, Prot.-Age., residing in Prague VIII, Schildwachplatz 503. Introduction: There - St.S. IV D - 52/43 of 7.4.1943. Ann.: 1. The letter of the K r á 1 i č e k is returned. Although he claims to have been opposed to the Masaryk and Benesh regimes all his life, he was formerly a member of the National Socialist (Benesh) party, then transferred to the Czech Communist Party and recently sympathized with the National Democratic Party of the Czechoslovak Republic. Today, K. as a Czech friendly to German, but this may only be due to material considerations. K. further states in his request that he had been punished disciplinarily by "people of the Benesch regime". This also does not correspond to the truth, since he was removed from the police service because of his disorderly life change (trance and unreliability in service, etc.). Characteristically, K. is also judged unfavorable. He is considered a drinker and takes little care of his family. K. keeps relations with other women; his current girlfriend is in other circumstances. I.A. 4-Obersturmführer. πD-52a/43 141
