10510 The Head of the Radio Group P r a g, 27 August 1941. V_e_r_t_r/a_u_li_ch_! 6 Presented to the Secretary of State ! Subject: Interference of interpretive broadcasts by enemy stations. Since 15 August 1994l, far-reaching disturbances of German broadcasts are observed by enemy transmitters. The head of the department presented the matter to Mr. Jhnen. The radio group's interception service has been responsible for the monitoring of the disturbances since August 1st. Here in Prague, the German station, the Reich station Leipzig and the Reichsssender Vienna are particularly noted Worden. The result of the surveillance has been continuously communicated to the Reichsministerium für Volksaufklärung und Propaganda. The Reichs Ministry has today announced that the jamming transmitter itself seems to be in Moekau. The disturbances are carried out with a special transmitter, which has the possibility to play the antenna carrier of another transmitter. In between, however, special technical means have been used by the Reich to counteract the jammer. It is to be expected that the influence of the enemy jammer will subside and will soon stop. 2 IX. 1941 6332/4 Au 3 7 2id, fy for E 1 p, bh0veicbaf hard hantysarfu gioh J0y8.47 EM ©t G. W8-14/4i
