SS-Obersturmführer von Allwörden Brünn, 19.Dec. 1939. Statement by the leader of the 4th/7th SS-T. St. SS-Uppersturm Führer of Allwürden on the incident at the station guard Brünn on 18 December 1939: The SS-RottenführER King, who was present at that time as a deputy guard in the guardhouse, is known to me as a quiet, conscientious and upright underleader. At the hearing of the Rottenführer König, he testified that when the lieutenant and battalion adjutant of the E-battalion No. 435 entered the watchroom, Werner Seemiller called attention to the guarding sergeant of Wehrmacht and that the whole guard immediately got up and took the front. A delay was perhaps only caused by the radio playing loudly, which passed through the special reports about the shooting of 34 enemy planes and the men thus did not have the attention to the entrance of the guardhouse. The lieutenant Seemiller let himself be carried away to insult the guard with the most outrageous expressions, such as: "Shit-kerle, snoses, horde, gangs and other words. These expressions against the guard of my company are not only an insult to the SS-members present in the guardhouse, but is also an attack against the 7th SS-dead-head-state. The derailments and tactlessness of an officer of the Wehr- macht against members of the 4th/7th SS-deadhead standard mark the spirit and attitude of this officer to the armed parts of the SS. I have the SS-Rttf. King especially asked if he acted disciplinarily towards the lieutenant in any way and was given the answer that he only answered with: "Yes, Mr. Lieutenant". It is significant that the Wehrmacht guard's relatives made themselves available as witnesses to the train station guard driver, SS-Ustuf. Freund, due to this incident. - 2 -
