On the basis of my own knowledge of the matter - as I have also done with the people's German officials and representatives of the Office of the Lord Reich Protector - I support the guarantee of the Protectorate's allowance to the peoples' German full-time SS members. There is no doubt that it means a resettlement of the popular German element, if the protectorate allowance is granted only to those officials and employees as well as full-time SS employees who come from the Old Reich. The living conditions are the same for both parts - only with the difference that the popular German Blement has for years borne the burden of the popular struggle and for this reason already deserved an allowance. I would ask you to inform me of the decision taken there, and I would like it to be welcomed if, without prejudice to any financial concerns, the above would be joined in the interest of a fair and mutually satisfactory solution.
