28 -14- Renegotiated! Substantial continuation of sheet l0: To my knowledge, my adjutant V o l a k has personally known the T e b i c k y, for both have served in the military community in Slovakia. Since T f e - bi e k y has been with me several times, V o l a k must also have got to know him through the visit registrations, so far as T i e b i c k y by chance has not always registered with my second adjutant - the secretary S t a d n i k. When T i e b i c k y explained in his interrogation that I doubted him a letter with 50,000,-- crowns by V o l a k at td d s a neren Veranzung, the information of the T e b ic k y. Only the sum of 50,000, - cro- n seems to me too high, because I can not really remember to have ever paid such an amount in one sum to a person. The possibility that I had T † e b i e k y handed a sum of about 7,000,-- crowns by V o l a k, I leave open, since I cannot remember this reason with certainty. I assume that I have paid this amount of money to support the family of T t e b e c k y. Whether the family was in need of support, is beyond my knowledge. I cannot remember that I have ever been called upon by T f e b i c k y for support or for a sum of money for other purposes, but I repeat that it is possible that I would have given him a sum which I no longer remember. If I gave him a sum of money, this has certainly been done by means of the V o l a k, as has also been stated by T f e b i c k y. I would like to add the following additions to my information on S c h m o r z: For example in June or July 1994 I was informed by the Secretary of State or by the Minister of State that the wife of S c o r a n z had informed me that if I or the State President had not visited him in prison, he would be in trouble.
