143 Volume XXII (1941). No 105-115. COMMUNICATIONS OF THE STATISTICAL CENTRAL OFFICE Series D, No. 42-52. Number of inhabitants of the Sudeten countries 1869-1940. Volume V. Alphabetical list of communes in the Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia. This list is an addition to the previous four volumes of the 'Mitteilungen', which contain a retrospective statistical overview of the municipalities in the Protectorate of Behmen and Moravia in the following breakdown according to the Öberlandrat districts: Volume I. Mittel- und Nordwest-Bohmen: Prag, Pilsen, Kladno, Jungbunzlau, No. 53- 60 of the Communications, pp. 371-429; Volume II. East Bohemia: Königgrätz, Pardubitz, Kolin, No 61-68 of the Bulletin, pp. 431-495; Volume III. South Bohemia: Tabor, Budweis, Klattau, No 69-77 of the Notices, p. 497-565; Volume IV. Moravia: Iglau, Brno, Olmütz, Zlin, Moravia-Ostrava, No 78-88 of the Announcements, pps. 567-651. This list lists the German and Czech official names of the communes, together with the corresponding page of one of these four volumes, in the sequence of letters. The Roman numeral on the name of the municipality means the number of the volume, the larger Arabic numeral of its side, on which data about the municipality in question are located (a part of this data, however, is located on the side side, since the data requires two neighboring pages), the smaller Arabic numerals then indicate the line of this page. (It is pointed out that the page numbers in the Czech version are 6 higher than in the German version.) The names composed of two or more words are given here in the normal sequence of words, e.g. Groß-Kuchel under G., Mähr.-Budwitz under M. The name of the court district in question is given in brackets in the more frequent local names. In addition to the municipalities, this list also includes the suburbs of the seven largest cities (Prague, Brno, Moravia-Ostrava, Pilsen, Olmü.z, Zlin, Kladno), which were still independent municipalities in the last two decades. A similar alphabetical list of districts is attached; the districts are listed with ordinary, semi-fat political districts. A Alexowitz.
