3a 2 - 2.) Start and duration of the training courses. The courses start in mid-October or early November 1940 and last four weeks. The number of participants is limited by average 30, maximum 40. (In the area of the Pol.-Verwaltung Berlin the number of students may be greater). If necessary, several courses can be completed one after the other. 3.) Criminalist teaching material. The instructions and curricula on the criminalistic training will go directly to the criminal police authorities and criminal police departments. All details are therefore to be agreed with the heads of criminal police offices and criminal authorities. 4.) Colonial lectures. In addition to the criminal police areas, colonial lectures are to be treated on this occasion by appropriate forces of the Reichscolonial League. For this purpose, the Jnspekteure (Commandant) of the Ordnungspolizei with the competent authorities has to be dealt with. Head of the Kreisverband of the Reichskolonialbund (Reichskonolialbund) and, because of the incorporation of these lectures in the criminal police curriculum, to arrange for the further in consultation with the heads of the participating criminal police departments and criminal police stations. The course participants are given by the inspectors (Be=failshaber) of the police on the basis of which they are subject to the decree of 2 July 1940 - 0-Kdo. P.II (2b) 56 d No. 50/40 - only those candidates who are at least 25 years of age and not more than 47 years old (for applicants who have already worked in the colonies, the maximum age is fixed at 52 years) are eligible.
